I ask you say a prayer for me, I've lost my job, am going to lose my home and all that I've worked so hard for. People tell me that it is a new beginning for me, but I feel so alone and in a dark place, with no light to guide me through this dark time. So I ask you say a prayer to help me through this dark time....

my daddy has cancer, im 17 years old and we dont know how much longer he is gonna make it the kemo he is on is not working, were going on 4 years on this, the doctors said he wont make it past 5. please pray for my dad his name is Tom VanSickle

I am a single mother of two children. I'm working full time and my dreams of homeschooling my children and taking them on mission trips with me and their father are going down the tubes. I didn't marry a Christian man so I've made many many mistakes in my life leading me to this point. I'd like to finish school but I can't pay my bills if I don't work and most school programs are full time. I actually don't even know what I would want to go back for if I could go back for something. My outlook on life is bleak at the moment-I'm stuck in an admin position without benefits, can't go to school, dealing with two frustrated, hurting little children, and I don't see a light at the end of this tunnel. I wish I could just take a leap of faith and quit, and go back to school but I'm not sure how we would survive.

I am student teaching and am struggling with classroom management and nervous that I won't be licensed. Please pray for me to have the strength and confidence to do a good job student teaching. I am a mom of four kids and this has been a struggle.
Also, please pray for my sister, Kerry, and her daughter. She is only 10 and going to a mental health facility next week. She has lots of issues and is on many drugs (lithium, etc.) to stabilize her. Please pray this is the right place for her.

Please pray for me and my family. We have not been coming to church much this year and we need to hear the word of God. We have lack of motivation and just feel in a rut. We have gone maybe 3 times so far. I am also trying to obtain a Bachelors degree and I feel like I have not direction in my life. I am at a dead end job and get no respect from the people I work with that could help me advance because I am a woman. This job is a good part-time job for me since I can be flexible with my hours. I just want to know that God has something good down the road for me and that getting my degree will not be in vain. I just want to feel I have more hope than I do right now. Also I need direction and peace about what my degree should be. I graduate in June with my Associates.

I want to be a psychiatrist but it seems to be an impossible career for me since no one believes that i can make it through or even to medical school. i Have doubts myself but i know that to God there is nothing impossible.
